Gretchen Fisher – Violin, Viola
Gretchen graduated from SUNY Purchase with a Bachelor of Arts in Violin Performance. While studying
under soloist Laurie Smuckler, Gretchen performed in the Purchase Symphony Orchestra for 4 years, as well
as many chamber ensembles and opera productions. She also performed with the Long Island Choral
Society, the New York Youth Symphony, and her string quartet at Carnegie Hall. Gretchen taught privately in
the New York City area before returning to Buffalo.
Greg Bennett - Cello
Although only 17 years old, Greg started playing cell at age 7. First studying with Bruce Cramer, former
cellist with the BPO and presently with with Roman Mekinulov, Principal cellist with the Buffalo Philharmonic
Orchestra. Greg already has played many professional dates with area string quartets and musicals. He has
been fortunate to have played in many area All State & All County Orchestras on the cello and trombone and is
currently Principal Cello with the Kenmore West HS Orchestra.

Jerry Livingston – Bass Guitar, Acoustic Bass
National recording artist and accomplished performer, Jerry received his Bachelor of Arts in Music from
Empire State College. He currently is working towards a Master in Music Education from Fredonia State.
Versatile in many musical styles, Jerry has performed at local concerts, churches, commercials, plays, and
recording. He has recorded with Rick James for Motown (“Reflections” went Gold), as well as Thelma
Houston and Stephanie Mills for MCA Records. His jazz and contemporary recordings include local artists
Jeff Jarvis and Rick Strauss. As instrumental music teacher with the Buffalo Public Schools, Jerry also
served as Marching Band Conductor.
