Michael Sydor – Piano, Brass, Woodwind
Michael received his Bachelor’s in Music Education from Long Island University in 2004. He moved to
Buffalo in summer 2006 and is currently Band Director at Westfield Academy. From 2004-2006 Michael taught
at the Malverne Public Schools on Long Island as well as piano, woodwinds, and brass privately. An
accomplished pianist, Michael is also available as an accompanist.

Dan Reitz - Piano, Trombone, Composition, Music Theory
Dan earned his Master’s in Education from the University at Buffalo and his Master’s in Music Composition
from Syracuse University with concentrations in jazz and music theory. While at Syracuse, he performed with the
Syracuse University Jazz Ensemble. Currently, Dan is music teacher at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. School.
Dan has played with several big bands and plays piano and trombone in three local bands.
